Akazi.net is a new internet site designed by a web team in Kigali and launched on September 2005. It was created to meet the demand of the rwandese public looking for jobs as well as employers looking for professionals.

Akazi.net has 3 advantages:
First of all, it offers an alternative for the local press which usually takes care of the job market, allowing people from outside Rwanda to view the job offers.
Secondly, posting a job offer at Akazi.net is cheaper so you can do it often and use it to look after all categories of employees.
Finally it innovates by creating a database of candidate’s resumes on the internet. This database could be used in the future by employers wanting to browse the market.

New job offers are posted everyday and the database is updated regularly too.

Akazi.net is free for job seekers. they can either post their resume or consult the job offers. The employers instead, need to first contact Akazi.net team and pay the service of posting a job offer.

Akazi.net’s objective is to better connect jobseekers and employers.
